If you haven't tasted our stuffeded turduckens you really don't know what you're missing. This 10 pound version of our turducken is the perfect size for a Sunday dinner with close friends and family. Avg 10-11 lbs, 26-29 (6 oz) servings.
Turducken isn't a meal, it's an experience! An instant hit at your dinner table. Our 10# turducken is a semi-boneless turkey (we leave the wings and legs) stuffed with boneless duck, boneless chicken, and a layer of cornbread or crawfish etouffee dressing in between each meat.
Turduckens must thaw completely before cooking. For best results, remove from box and thaw in refrigerator for approximately 48 hours.
Submerge turducken in vacuum-sealed bag in cool water. Change water every hour for approximately 6-8 hours.
Remove from bag. Bake at 325°, breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan, covered for 3 hours, then uncovered for 30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Allow turducken to cool for 20-30 minutes to seal in juices. Remove string or netting. Slice off wings and drumsticks. Cut the remainder from wing to wing into 1/2 inch slices, and then once down the center.
